Sculpture & exhibition space

The CUBIC artspace is a sculpture in the public space of the Hanseatic city of Greifswald and at the same time an exhibition space for contemporary art. It is located in Greifswald’s city centre on Karl-Marx-Platz in the immediate vicinity of the main railway station and can be viewed through four glass surfaces of different sizes.

art-cube – Raum für zeitgenössische Kunst e.V. has been organising changing exhibition projects in the CUBIC artspace since 2017. Eight to nine presentations are realised each year. A performance event at and in CUBIC was also realised in 2021. Artists from Germany, Poland and Iceland have been invited to the various event formats in the project space to date.
