Bodies emerge from the darkness, bend into the light, turn into organic forms in the picture. The sculptural objects reproduce structures or elements, rise up from the surface and appear to be moulded from the body.

In her artistic works, the young artist Meike Hildebrandt examines the human body as a figurative structure and elementary form, using various materials and image formats.

Meike Hildebrandt is a graduate of the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Institute for Fine Arts at the University of Greifswald and is presenting part of her final thesis in this presentation.

The art association art-cube e.V. aims to promote young artists and offers students of fine arts the opportunity to present their current artistic work in the art cube once a year.
